Join for a “Climate Chat” on Wednesday, March 6 to explore the relationship between food and climate. Climate Chats are informal gatherings to share information about climate change and provide diverse opportunities to discuss and work with the information in small groups.

This Climate Chat centers on an area that is within our individual control – what we eat. will present information gathered from various, recent studies that will help us look at the contributing factors to climate change, how food production, transportation, storage and consumption fit into the picture, and what each of us can do about it. The event will include a presentation, group activities, and plenty of time for discussion.

Admission is free, though contributions are welcome. Local organic snacks provided thanks to the Ocean Beach People’s Food Co-op.

This event is in collaboration with the Climate Change Committee of the San Diego Chapter of the Sierra Club.

Parking: there is street parking in the area; note that parking in Horton Plaza is no longer free :(

Please contact us with any questions or if you’d like to volunteer at this event.

See you there!
