This year in San Diego we've seen extreme drought, the hottest spring on record, wildfires in May. The climate movement needs all the people-power it can get!

On August 16th, we are holding a one-day workshop to empower the next generation of change-makers. If you're a young person who wants to help grow the climate movement in San Diego, you should check it out.   

WHAT: Workshop to equip San Diego’s next generation of activists, including trainings, speaker panel, discussions, and optional happy hour

WHEN: Saturday, August 16th, 8:30 am - 5:45 pm

This is going to be a great organizing crash course, as well as an opportunity to connect with other young climate activists in your area. The day will include sessions on political power, social movements, activist tactics, communications, and more. 

This workshop is specially geared toward activists under 35. If you know a young person who'd be a good fit, help us spread the word by forwarding this message. (Note: similar workshops for all ages coming soon - stay tuned). It's $15 (or pay-what-you-can), which includes breakfast, lunch, snacks, and one happy-hour drink.
