Dear ,

Are you prepared to make history? This Sunday, September 21st, join us at City Hall for the People's Climate March San Diego. March with 500-1,000 San Diegans as part of an unprecedented global mobilization, including hundreds of thousands of marchers in New York City and over 2,000 other events around the world. We'll also send a loud and clear message to local leaders that we need local solutions to climate change.

We'll march from City Hall (gather at 12:30 pm) to the County Administration Waterfront Park (ending around 3:30 pm). Confirmed speakers include San Diego City Council President Todd Gloria, Secretary-Treasurer of the San Diego-Imperial Counties Labor Council AFL-CIO, Richard Barrera, Monique Lopez, Policy Advocate at Environmental Health Coalition, and San Diego City Councilmember David Alvarez.

The People’s Climate March San Diego has been endorsed by a coalition of over 60 environmental, health, labor, spiritual and civic organizations.

There are many climate-friendly ways to travel to the march: Four organized bike rides will bring participants to the march, and information about the coaster leaving Oceanside @11:07am, carpooling, buses and trolleys is here .

Not convinced this is a must-attend event? Watch the short movie Disruption, then RSVP.

Click here to RSVP. Together, we can make sure our San Diegan leaders get the message loud and clear and take serious climate action!

See you there,

TIPS on making this the BIGGEST climate event in San Diego history
1) Take the pledge - RSVP NOW.
2) Share the event with your friends, family colleagues.
        Forward this email.
Join and share the facebook event  or  twitter feed
Print out and distribute flyers and pledge cards
3) Make a donation. Printing, props, signs and banners all cost money. We need to raise about $2,000 - so 20 people giving $100 or 50 people giving $40 would rock.
4) Volunteer at the event. Contact Masada (619-335-1265, masada@sandiego350.org)
