The Action! Team supports SanDiego350 in organizing and carrying out actions. Actions are often marches and rallies but may also include forums, presentations, demonstrations, and press conferences
The Action! Team carries out its mission by:
- Identifying future actions in conjunction with other SD350 teams, committees and projects, as appropriate
- Planning and/or organizing actions
- components may include program, media, arts, security / legal, logistics, promotion, outreach, volunteer coordination, follow up
- Identifying volunteers for roles in conjunction with the volunteer coordinator
- Providing training and coaching to volunteers to develop organizational and leadership skills
- Improving action planning infrastructure, including documenting processes, building templates and providing samples.
- Refining the planning process, including development of resources, templates, procedures and tips
- Supporting other SD350 teams, committees, and projects in organizing actions
- Supporting coalition partners and coordinate their support for our actions (in collaboration with the coalition committee / interfaith team)
