On Tuesday Native Americans, environmentalists, nurses and others will come together in a solidarity action to call on President Obama and the Army Corps of Engineers to revoke the permits for this dirty oil pipeline.

This day of action is part of a broader call to action happening across the country targeting decision makers & stakeholders at every level. We hope to call attention to the brave water and land protectors at Standing Rock and encourage President Obama to stop the pipeline.

We’ll have speakers, postcards to the Army Corps, music and more. Join us! Please register below and share!

  1. Monte Weddle says

My wife and I are committed to advocating for the environment. We belong to Mono 350 (in Mono County), and would like to be active here as we live half the year in San Diego. Problem is we don’t want to march/be involved in actions supporting”racial” and “economic” justice. Worthy issues, but the fate of the planet is paramount. We wouldn’t want the most important issue drowned out by chants demanding justice. Before we volunteer, we would want to know that the group we join will be focused on reducing carbon emissions, educating the public on individual action, environmental action, etc. The key word is FOCUS. No sociological issues. Don’t save people, save the planet!
