San Diego Says No to Offshore Drilling!

On Tuesday March 6th, the City of San Diego will join dozens of cities in California in opposing the Trump administration proposal to open U.S. coastal waters to oil drilling. Join Councilmember Ward, SanDiego350 and Oceana on Tuesday for a press conference at the San Diego City Hall Concourse ahead of the City Council vote.

Join Councilmember Ward, SanDiego350 and Oceana on Tuesday for a press conference at the San Diego City Hall Concourse ahead of the City Council vote. 

Offshore oil drilling threatens our beaches and marine life, and pollution from burning fossil fuels is the leading cause of climate change.

Please arrive by 8:45am (allow enough time to park or take the trolley) for setup.  We'll have signs for people to use. The press conference will take place at 9:00am, then we'll go to the Council chambers for passage of the resolution at 10 am. We should be done by 10:30 am.
