Interfaith Coalition for Earth Justice (ICEJ) is a volunteer organization of San Diego faith leaders and communities that serve to advocate for climate and environmental justice both in policy and in the public square. We believe that the values held in common by all faith traditions include the care for creation and care for the most vulnerable in society.

If you attended the Be Not Afraid talk with Dr. Larry Ward and Dr. Peggy Lowe Ward, thank you and I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did.  There was a lot there to chew on. I am meditating on the notes I took for my morning prayers. If you missed it, you can still watch it HERE. 
UPCOMING EVENTS:

Our next event is Taking Our Faith to the Streets: Just Transition from Fossil Fuels to Climate Justice, a Press Conference and Vigil at Wells Fargo to protest their funding of the fossil fuel industry.  That will be on Monday, October 24th at 11:30 AM for the press conference and 12 noon for the Vigil at Wells Fargo Plaza - 401 B ST STE 101, San Diego. 

Time is running out for any significant impact on global climate disruption. Our faith demands that we ask: if not now, when? If not us, who?  This event is part of GreenFaith’s Faiths 4 Climate Justice 2022 campaign.  For more information contact dianelopezhughes@me.com
