I hope you are handling your election anxiety this November! We are reflecting on our election work and making plans to continue to fight for climate action going forward.

Vote for Climate Youth Rally and March

We had a successful Youth Vote for Climate Rally urging adults to vote for candidates and policies that put climate action first! We had over sixty attendees and all youth speakers, including Abby Costello (Youth4Climate Intern) introducing the rally, Kobi Schneider (Vote for Climate Campaign Co-Lead) talking about Measure G, Elena Grilli (Eco-Club Coalition Co-Lead) talking about the importance of voting, and a group spoken word performance. We then marched along the Embarcadero through Seaport Village, carrying colorful signs and chanting. See more photos here.

Youth v. Oil Post-Election Social

This event is welcome to current, past, and new members as well as adult supporters. We will have our planning session and post-election destress first, followed by Youth v. Oil merch making. Please bring a t-shirt/hoodie/tote bag/etc. to get the YVO logo printed on.

Join us for a fun-filled celebration of our incredible volunteers and donors! Enjoy vegan food, party games, awards, and unstructured social time. Youth4Climate's Winter Social

Join us for an afternoon of clothing repair and climate resilience in Chula Vista! This event is welcome to current, past, and new members of Youth4Climate and Youth v. Oil as well as adult supporters. We will have a climate resiliency workshop aimed at combatting eco-anxiety and clothing repair, alterations, and embroidery.

Youth Climate Action Summit

Youth4Climate’s Summit is an annual event where students and the community can connect with a network of local climate activists, access Y4C resources and knowledge, learn from community leaders, climate scientists, and & other experts, and participate in collaborative, innovative, and restorative activities!
