Interfaith Coalition for Earth Justice (ICEJ) is a volunteer organization of San Diego faith leaders and communities that advocate for climate and environmental justice both in policy and in the public square. We believe that the values held in common by all faith traditions include the care for creation and care for the most vulnerable in society.

Islam has a long tradition of caring for the earth and using its resources responsibly. Join us this Friday, May 23rd at 8 p.m. at the Islamic Center of San Diego for a presentation featuring Taha Hassane, Imam of the Islamic Center, Dr. Wael El-Delaimy, Professor and researcher at UCSD, and Brother Yusef Miller of the Islamic Society of North County (and Co-Chair of ICEJ ) addressing the religious, scientific and activist aspects of earth care. This event is FREE and open to the public. We look forward to seeing you there!
