SanDiego350 was honored to receive the Advocate of the Year Award in the Environmental category from Assemblymember Dr. LaShae Sharp-Collins, District 79. We were inspired by all the terrific work done by the other honorees.

We had a great turnout at the Under The Perfect Sun event with Supervisor Paloma Aguirre, EHC, and authors Jim Miller and Kelly Mayhew to discuss environmental advocacy over the last twenty years. Check out the books here and here. Check out the photos.

We came together for an inspiring evening learning how a more plant-based diet can serve as a powerful tool for climate action, meting the animals at Franklin Farm Sanctuary, and enjoying a comedy show by Steven Marcus Releford. Check out the photos.

Right now, numerous corrupt officials are testing our dedication to the idea that government is “of the people, by the people, and FOR the people.” However, we at SanDiego350 are confident that, just as this notion has triumphed over its challengers, we will once again come through this time of trial stronger.

He expects us to believe the election system is so broken that we must take drastic action to suppress voters through imposing onerous voter registration requirements through the SAVE act and its variations in order to prevent voter fraud.

Whether he [Trump] recognizes this or not, people recognize that his profoundly corrupt, amoral, and illegal actions are destroying US democracy.

The solution to the fundamental problem is to stop Trump’s self-serving lies and manipulations. The way to do this is through free and fair elections, through the rule of law, and through carefully considered, evidence-based policymaking aimed at securing a better world for us, and for our descendants.

Youth4Climate, SD350, Climate Action Campaign (CAC), and IBEW 569 gathered on June 17th and urged Chula Vista Elementary School District (CVESD) board members to electrify its infrastructure by 2035. The largest elementary-only school district in CA passed their resolution in support. Hear from 3 students and others below. Photos

Are you a student? Enter to win this Poster Contest! The Midterm Elections are on November 3, 2026. Poster designs need to convey to the public the urgency of protecting our democracy and exercising our right to vote despite Trump's efforts to subvert free and fair elections. All submissions need to be completed by no later than Monday, September 7.
