Keystone XL Pipeline Vigil
Feb 4 @ 2:00 am

Please join us for this nationwide vigil calling on the President to say nStopKXLo to the Keystone XL Pipeline.

With the release of the State Department’s final environmental impact statement, this is a crucial moment to protest Keystone XL. Join us Monday evening to send the message to President Obama that Keystone XL fails his climate test and he must reject it. NASA’s James Hansen famously called the Keystone “Game over for the climate” because of the huge amount of greenhouse gas emissions that would result from using it to open up the tar sands in Alberta to mass production.

We’ll be bringing some candles and signs, but please bring some as well if you can. We’ll also have chants and songs.

Prayerful, peaceful vigil against the DAPL
Dec 5 @ 3:30 pm – 5:00 pm

On Monday Native Americans, environmentalists, vets, nurses and others will come together in a peaceful, prayerful vigil to support the water protectors at Standing Rock.

We will thank the Standing Rock Protectors for the amazing victory won on Sunday, Dec 4, when the Army Corps of Engineers announced that they were denying the final permit for the Dakota Access pipeline. And we will re-commit to fighting for our water, our climate and for meaningful indigenous rights.

We will call on President Obama to stop the pipeline permanently.

Speakers include Gina Tiger-Madueno, Olympia Temiquiani Andrade Beltran, David Fernandez, Jr., Chuck Cadotte, Stan Rodriguez, and will include a Lakota prayer song.

Please bring candles and lighters and perhaps a simple homemade candle drip catcher.

There will be prayer, solidarity, speakers, music and more. Join us!
