SD350's annual legislative training helps participants develop skills and confidence in communicating with elected officials and knowledge about climate bills currently in the California state legislature.
Topics will include:
- How does a bill become law?
- Setting up meetings to lobby State legislators who represent San Diego County.
- How to set up a meeting
- How to write an agenda
- Assigning roles for participants
- Thank you and follow up
- Brief summary and discussion of the bills SD350 supports, and where they are in the process.
