Join us for a short rally at 8:30 am, before the SANDAG Transportation Committee meets to call for improvements to the 2025 Regional Transportation Plan (RTP). We’ll bring signs, hear from inspiring speakers, and then head inside to provide public comments at the SANDAG Transportation Committee meeting, which begins at 9 am and will discuss the RTP.
We’ll be calling for prioritizing transit expansion and frequency, greater reductions in VMT (vehicle miles traveled), and permanent extension of the successful Youth Opportunity Pass program. We want to see reductions in air pollution and respiratory disease, and oppose highway expansions.
