SanDiego350 is inviting you to join us as we celebrate our beautiful wetlands. We will be partnering with Ocean Connectors, and will be kayaking to clean our local wetland.
Are you interested in connecting with other San Diegans like yourself, looking to take climate action? Are you looking for some fun in the sun?
Join us Saturday, September 27th! There will be two time slots from 10:00am-2:00pm. *NOTE: you will be assigned automatically. Look for emails confirming your assignment and final details on Sept 20.
The event is at Bayside Park, Chula Vista. Look for the SanDiego350 Canopy, the Chula Vista Watersports Tent, or guides wearing black Ocean Connectors t-shirts.
PLEASE NOTE: If you are using Apple Maps, type in “Chula Vista Bayside Park” instead of the address. Also, please be aware there is some construction in the area that you will need to drive around.
*All kayaking equipment will be provided.
We suggest bringing a reusable water bottle, layers, sunscreen, a hat, and shoes that you don’t mind getting wet or muddy. Be aware you may get wet during the event and the wetlands are quite muddy. We advise that you do not bring valuables with you, but we will have dry bags available for phones and keys. Lastly, be sure to arrive on time for your shift (kayaks depart promptly).
