Why do we pay so much for electricity when we have so much sun and solar is now the cheapest energy globally? The short answer is: San Diego Gas & Electric.
What can we do about it? The short answer is: organize.
Longer answers require a training, which is exactly what we’re going to do.
We’ve long resisted San Diego Gas & Electric and their parent company, Sempra, a major natural gas company. This is the first time that SanDiego350 will have a team dedicated specifically to fighting for clean affordable energy. And we’re kicking it off with a training.
If you want to join our new team or just want to learn more about how we ended up with some of the highest electricity rates in the country, please join us.
The doors open at 10:30 AM. We want to start at 11 AM sharp as we want to explain how we got these high rates but also want to have time for discussion.
