This is your chance to be a part of something big. The entire organization (and partner orgs!) will be involved in planning our upcoming 2025 climate march. Are you ready to get involved?
Large marches and protests are a tool we as organizers have in order to show our power. But they are also critical avenues to engaging and educating more people. In this moment, we know that climate action is under attack on the Federal level, so it is more important than ever to bolster local and state efforts by showing support. Our goals include: getting more people inspired, involved, and empowered; raising awareness of key issues; and connecting with other justice movements
At this planning kickoff, we will dive deeper into the “Why” of this event. We will also share insight into how something like this gets put together. Finally, we will go into breakout sessions to discuss next steps on key components like coalition building, volunteer coordination, and outreach.
Join us Jan 25th at the North University Library Community Room. More information including an agenda will be sent to those who RSVP.
