We support a strong democracy where decisions are made for the people and not for profit. The Trump administration is attacking our environment and subverting free and fair elections.
The time is NOW to Stand Up for Democracy!
OUR GOALS:
- Communicate the threats to democracy and elections
- Demand end to Trump’s anti-voter actions
- Pressure elected officials to stand up and act
- Respond with non-violent direct action
TAKE ACTION
The Stand Up for Democracy campaign is coordinated by our Raise the Alarm Team.
The Stand Up for Democracy Campaign Working Groups and Project Teams:
- Research federal administration moves to undermine elections.
- Coalition Building to find partners and coordinate action.
- Outreach to Electeds to warn them about anti-voter actions/scenarios and get commitments from them to act
- Voter Outreach for primary and general election to maximize turnout and raise awareness about threats
- Poster Design with Students to design free and fair election posters share them
- Defend Voting Rights Publicity Campaign to defend practices such as early voting and mail-in ballots
- Banner drops to encourage public to Resist Trump and support free and fair elections
