In the City of San Diego, the Mayor holds a lot of power over the city budget and is a key decision-maker when it comes to allocating the resources that our communities need.
This is an opportunity to get to know the mayoral candidates and learn about where they stand on key issues before the March 5th election. You’ll have the opportunity to hear where they stand on our coalition’s key issues:
- Environmental Justice
- Housing & Tenants’ Rights
- Redefining Public Safety
- Democratizing Power
- Worker Justice
It is critical that the next Mayor of San Diego shows up for our communities! The next mayor must center racial and environmental justice, invest in youth, housing that’s affordable, workers’ rights, and protections for tenants, instead of criminalizing our people.
