SD350’s Intro to Transportation Policy training will help YOU develop skills and confidence in communicating with elected officials and build your knowledge about the landscape of transportation, land use, and local policy.

This is a youth-friendly space and youth are invited and encouraged to attend and to join us for lobby meetings and other campaign activities following the training.
Note: anyone interested in transportation policy is welcome! You don’t need to be an SD350 member and members of partner organizations are welcome to join.
Youth under 18 must bring (or email to Emma Rodriguez) a signed waiver, which can be found HERE.
Getting There: This training will be held in-person at the UC San Diego Climate Action Lab in La Jolla.
Recommended: Park at trolley stations and take the Blue Line Trolley
Public Transit-
- NCTD bus route 101 and MTS bus route 30 drop off on N. Torrey Pines Road
- For the 101, get off on N Torrey Pines Rd & Muir College Dr if coming from Sorth, OR N Torrey Pines Rd & Almahurst Row if coming from North. It will be a roughly 5-8 minute walk.
- For the 30, get off at N. Torrey Pines Rd & La Jolla Shores Dr. It will be a 12 minute walk.
- MTS bus routes 201/2, 921A drop off at Gilman Dr & Eucalyptus Grove Ln. It will be a 9-10 minute walk.
- The Blue Line Trolley stops at UCSD Central Campus Station. It will be a 15 minute walk.

Parking-
- Parking at UCSD is limited and cannot be guaranteed. It will cost $9 to park for the duration of the training. The closest lot is the Scholars Structure, located just below the Climate Action Lab. More information about parking at UCSD can be found here.
- You can also park at the TOP 2 LEVELS of Nobel Drive trolley station and take the trolley to campus for the $5 daily fare rate.
