On October 24th, young people across California will host school walkouts to say: “Youth Demand Climate Action!” and pressure legislators to support the Polluters Pay Climate Superfund, a California bill that would make the largest fossil fuel polluters pay for the climate damages they’ve caused.
If you’re interested in hosting a walkout at your school, you can sign up here. We will reach out to connect you with resources like our guide, and partner you with an adult mentor who can help you plan. We also recommend you sign up to attend our Mass Launch Call on Thursday, September 4th from 6-7pm.
If you’re interested in being an adult mentor to be paired with youth leaders at a middle school, high school, or college in your area and work with them one-on-one to provide guidance, mentorship, and help with anything they need to plan their walkout, you can sign up here.
