Join the Environmental Health Coalition to demonstrate against a biodiesel transfer station planned in the Port of San Diego, just ⅓ mile from Kimball Elementary. This project would bring 70+ tanker trucks rolling into National City 24/7.
Areas near the port, like National City, already experience horrible pollution (nearly the worst in the county), with elevated levels of respiratory diseases. We want to help EHC and the neighboring communities stop this project!
We will hold a press event at Kimball Park at 5:30 PM, then walk to National City Hall (just off the park) to demonstrate at the National City Planning Commission Meeting at 6:00 PM.
