SD350’s 2nd Annual Transportation Policy training will help YOU develop skills and confidence in communicating with elected officials and build your knowledge about the landscape of transportation, land use, and local policy.

Topics we’ll cover include:
- Transportation policy landscape in San Diego and beyond
- Breakout groups on local issues like the West Valley River Crossing
- Our “Finish the 215” Campaign
- Public comments and making an impact!
- Reception and time to meet fellow activists 3-4 PM
We are excited to host this event in partnership with the San Diego River Park Foundation’s Annual River Days.
Hear more about transportation politics in San Diego, California, and the Federal level!
Note: anyone interested in transportation policy is welcome! You don’t need to be an SD350 member and members of partner organizations are welcome to join.
This is a youth-friendly space and youth are invited and encouraged to attend and to join us for lobby meetings and other campaign activities following the training.
Youth under 18 must bring (or email to Emma Rodriguez) a signed waiver, which can be found HERE.
