Hello all,
Due to the developing and tragic situation in Clairemont, the hearing has been cancelled. Stay tuned for updates.
This is really important. Join us at the San Diego City Council Budget hearing to speak out against major cuts to the Energy Independence Fund, street safety, youth services, and libraries/parks. We’re joining other organizations to raise our voices, and ensure that the community isn’t ignored in this process.
Please sign up today to attend in person.
When you sign up, we will share a toolkit with talking points and notify you of changes to the agenda or other issues closer to the event. You won’t need to make a comment, even showing up is critical.
SCHEDULE:
- 4:30 PM: Meet downstairs to enjoy pizza, music, art building, and plan your remarks (if you want to comment) courtesy of the Community Budget Alliance
- 5:30 PM: enter the council chambers
- 6:00 PM: meeting begins, may continue until 10 PM or later (you can leave at anytime)
