Banking on Our Future – March and Rally

On Tuesday, March 21, at 11:30am, SanDiego350, Third Act SoCal, Sierra Club, Climate Action Campaign, along with other partner organizations and concerned individuals from the San Diego region will tell rally and march downtown to tell Chase, Wells Fargo, Bank of America, and Citibank to STOP business as usual – STOP funding new oil and gas projects that drive climate change – or we will STOP using their services. This action will include pre-event petitioning by youth as well as a congenial heads up to the banks.

Chula Vista Community Mural Celebration

Join the South Bay Eco-Justice Team for the unveiling of a new Community Mural on Saturday, March 11 from 1 pm to 3 pm at 888 Country Club Dr in Chula Vista. Councilmember Jose Preciado will be there to greet you. Jill Galvez, former Council Member, will also be there. You will also learn about the Chula Vista Climate Challenge and how you can take action. Snacks and water will be served. Native plants are depicted in the mural with an environmental message to keep Chula Vista beautiful. This project is made possible in part by the City of Chula Vista and the Create Chula Vista Arts Grant.
