Why we March

💥For Climate Action: No more delays. We demand bold policies that transition us away from fossil fuels NOW.

⚖️For Justice: Climate change is a human rights issue. We fight for economic, racial, and environmental justice.

⏰For Our Future: Every child deserves a thriving planet. Let’s make sure we leave them one.

🌎For Ourselves: Marches allow us to grab attention, share and learn skills, gain volunteers, and build coalition and community.

Which do you want to join?

  • Volunteer Coordination WG
    • The Volunteer Coordination working group is responsible for identifying volunteer roles, recruiting, and doing trainings to ensure the March planning, day of, and wrap up process is smooth.
    • Meetings: Every other week Wed 6-7 pm (Virtual)
  • Outreach WG
    • Volunteer team responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing physical outreach activities. This includes tabling, putting up posters/flyers, passing out flyers, and presentations.
    • Meetings: Weds 7:30-8:30 pm (Virtual)
  • Promotion WG
    • We are the volunteer Team for promoting the march through various mediums. We create graphics, videos, and printed materials for social media and outreach.
    • Meetings: Weds 6-7 pm (Virtual)
  • Logistics WG
    • The Climate March Logistics Team will ensure a well-planned route, secure necessary permits, manage traffic considerations, and prioritize participant safety and well-being.
    • Meetings: Every other week Saturday afternoon
  • Coalition Building WG
    • The Coalition Team is bringing in other groups and organizations to support, collaborate, and get the word out about the march. 
    • Meetings: Once a month + monthly coalition meetings
