The County of San Diego is holding a series of public workshops in all 5 districts in January 2023 on the Regional Decarbonization Framework (RDF). The RDF is the county's plan to achieve net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2045, and these workshops are important opportunities for you to make your voice heard!
You should attend the workshop taking place in your district, or an adjacent district if necessary.
SanDiego350's toolkit with talking points is here. The County's page on the workshops is here and includes a virtual participation option.
The first workshop is Tuesday, January 17, 6-8pm, at the Malcolm X (Valencia Park) Public Library, 5148 Market Street, San Diego, CA 92114.
The other workshops are scheduled for:
- January 18 (District 1: Chula Vista, National City, Imperial Beach) – San Ysidro Civic Center
- January 23 (District 3: Coronado, Beaches, Del Mar, Solana Beach, Encinitas, Carlsbad) – San Diego County Administration Building
- January 30 (District 2: El Cajon, Santee, Poway) – El Cajon Valley High School Event Center
