BREAKING NEWS! The long-awaited Implementation Plan for the City of San Diego's Climate Action Plan (CAP) is finally out! This is a crucial part of San Diego's plan to address the climate crisis, which advocates have been seeking for years, and it is important that the public show up to make our voices heard!
Join climate advocates as we rally and hear from community leaders. We will then attend the Environment Committee meeting to deliver our message to the committee. Please submit comments to the Committee in advance of the meeting as well, using the resources below. If you cannot attend the full event, feel free to select which options work for you (submitting advance eComment, attending rally and lunch, and/or attending or calling into the meeting).
This event is co-hosted by SanDiego350 and Climate Action Campaign.
Another press conference, organized by Pillars of the Community, on budget priorities and gun violence, will occur at 11:30am, after our event. All are encouraged to stay for both events and show solidarity. Free lunch for all attendees of both events will be provided at noon, courtesy of Climate Action Campaign. Vegetarian and vegan options.
