Join SanDiego350’s virtual Power Hour as we rally support for the Polluters Pay Climate Superfund Act (state legislation currently in the CA Senate – SB 684 and Assembly – AB 1243). This critical bill that would make the biggest polluters financially responsible for the climate damage they caused in California. (Read more about these bills here)
Senator Akilah Weber Pierson’s vote is essential to advancing this bill out of the Judiciary Committee on April 22, and we need your help to get her support.
During this hour, we will call our members who live in Senate District 39 and ask them to contact her office to urge her to support and coauthor the bill (these are not cold calls).
All you need is a phone and a laptop. We will provide the script, training, and support. We’ll meet on zoom (link sent once you register).
