SanDiego350 Better Future Book Club Kickoff

Join us for the first introductory meeting of SanDiego350’s Better Future Book Club on Friday, November 14th 5-7 PM @ the SD350 office in Hillcrest! 

The goal of this book club is to retrain our minds so we can better imagine a better future (and present!), and to read some great books along the way.

Much like the future of the entire world, the future of this book club is uncharted—it will grow strongest if we shape it together. Here is what to expect at the kickoff meeting:

• We will figure out a time that works for as many folks as possible going forward.
• We will feast! (That is, we’ll all bring snacks).
• We will choose books as a group. Note: for the first book we’ll choose from three options below, to get us rolling! A copy of each of the books will be available at the kickoff so everyone can peruse.

Our options for the first book:

• Here Comes the Sun by Bill Mckibben
• What if We Get It Right by Ayanna Elizabeth Johnson
• The Reindeer Chronicles: And Other Inspiring Stories of Working with Nature to Heal The Earth by Judith D. Schwartz
