Join us at the City College Gallery Oct 20-23 and at the special reception Oct 20, 5-7 PM to celebrate the winners of the Stand Up for Democracy Poster Contest.

These posters were selected from dozens of designs submitted by San Diego County high school and college students.

 

 

We need to communicate to voters that voting is the heart of democracy and that voters must exercise that right so that they can keep it.  The poster design contest will help increase voter turnout and inform the public of federal attempts to restrict our right to vote.  Students who participate–even if they are not yet of voting age–will think more about the importance of voting in a democracy and thereby become better citizens.
