Our goal is to help the San Diego community reduce emissions and other environmental impacts associated with animal agriculture by educating about and promoting a plant-based diet, as well as advocating for policies that promote the reduction of animal-based products.
WHAT WE'RE WORKING ON
- Push the City to take action on their Climate Action Plan goal of reducing carbon and water footprint of meat and dairy purchases by 20%
- Educate community about animal agricultures impact on climate change
- Empower community to eat plant-based
- Hold an educational event for SD350 members
- Educate and provide opportunities for schools to increase purchases of plant-based products and decrease purchases of animal products in the school cafeteria.
- Collaborate with other organizations
- Educate and provide opportunities for individuals and businesses to switch to 100% renewable energy from CCA (Community Choice Aggregators) providers, including Clean Energy Alliance in North County
