SD350 will be supporting East County BIPOC and Spring Valley Cleanup Crew as they host a MASSIVE EARTH DAY EVENT stretching across 2 cities.
Join us Saturday, April 23rd from 10am-1pm at Bill Beck Park in El Cajon for an educational and interactive Earth Day Fair, then follow up the fun by volunteering to plant trees at Lamar County Park in Spring Valley from 1-4pm. We chose to host events at these parks because they are located in 2 underserved environmental justice communities. And we hope that by stretching the event across the whole day and multiple cities, more families are able to come out and plant with us! So please join us as we provide meaningful resources and increase the urban forest in these areas to help improve air quality.
This will truly be a day to remember, as we build a sense of community in East County and rally around the issues that matter!
